For the first time in the event’s history, the 2015 Call of Duty Championship, presented by Xbox, will offer tickets to the public. Fans everywhere are rejoicing for a chance to watch their favorite teams from around the world compete in-person. Since the inaugural event back in 2013 for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 season, the only people in attendance for the events have been personally invited. Although there are only a limited number of tickets available for purchase to the public, this is considered by many to be a huge step in the right direction for the growth of Call of Duty as a top spectator friendly eSport.
The tickets will be available for purchase at MajorLeagueGaming.com on February 17th at 10 a.m. PST and will also include Gold and Platinum three-day packages to decide between. The Gold Package, which will cost $50 USD, includes general admission seating, a Call of Duty Championship 2015 t-shirt, the latest Ascendance DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and the Call of Duty Championship 2015 premium personalization pack for your game player. The personalization pack itself contains a Call of Duty Championship exoskeleton and helmet, a golden weapon camouflage, a calling card, and much more. For $100, you can treat yourself to the Silver Package, which includes all the content in the aforementioned package with the addition of VIP seating access at the event as well as an exclusive Call of Duty Championship 2015 hoodie.
Fans who can’t make it to Los Angeles to watch the event shouldn’t feel left out as the personalization pack will be available for purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace. All of the action from the Call of Duty Championship can be found via MLG.tv.
